If you are reading this, I will assume that you have some understanding of how SEO works. The fundamentals of SEO apply to Government sites too, and I'd like to expand about some specific needs for these websites.

You cannot just trust third parties for republishing the information from Government Websites, and although you cannot see the potential damage that specific people may suffer, it is a real possibility that you have to mitigate.
